The Trust will be hosting a charity tea and cake stall at Dunsborough Park, Ripley at the height of their Tulip Festival on Wednesday, 20th April 2022. All proceeds will go to Surrey Gardens Trust. This is an excellent opportunity to raise the profile of the Trust and talk about the valuable work we do through the conservation of Surrey’s historic parks, gardens and designed landscapes to our outreach programmes, Schools Awards and Gateway.
We would very much like some volunteer help on the day. If you are not already signed up to visit the festival, here is a wonderful opportunity to come along to see this magnificent Spring display while giving the Trust a helping hand.
Please email us if you can give some of your time and/or would be willing to bake a cake for the stall. The gardens open in the morning at 9.30am (all visitors due by 10am). Lunch is at 12noon when the garden closes to the morning visitors. The gardens open for the afternoon at 1pm (all visitors due by 1.30pm) and the garden closes for the day at 3.30pm.
I look forward to hearing from you with an indication of when you could help during this timetable, morning or afternoon etc. We would also welcome cake donations. Once I know how many will be working on the stall I will give some further instructions with regard to cake drop off etc.
We are excited to have this opportunity and hope you will join us.
