Jekyll Project Funding Total Achieved
Open Garden Event, 1 July 2018: Fundraising for the Gertrude Jekyll Surrey Archive Digitisation Project
Our first fundraising event for the Gertrude Jekyll Surrey Archive Digitisation Project is an Open Garden at Solars, Pockford Road, Chiddingfold, GU8 4XS on Sunday, 1 July 2018, 2 - 6 pm. The Chair of Surrey Gardens Trust, a garden designer, has invited local artisans, artists and amenity societies to share her private garden for this event. All proceeds from entry, refreshments and events on the day go towards this hugely important conservation project to make available Gertrude Jekyll's significant Surrey Archive which will be available to view in colour at high resolution through the Surrey Gardens Trust website by the end of 2018.
Do come along and support us. Full details are set out below.
