Following the closure of The Arts Society Camberley, the organisers considered where to gift their residual funds and as a result made a generous donation to the Trust’s Schools award programme for schools specifically in Surrey Heath. The generous gift enabled us to award Special Creative Grants in 2024 to projects for the chosen school’s garden, that have been designed by the children that show flair and creativity. The three schools which were awarded grants were Portesbery Special School, Bagshot Infant School and Frimley Church of England School. We look forward to visiting the schools next term to see the progress of their projects and take some photographs.
