Surrey Gardens Trust will be hosting a series of online talks exploring three seminal projects completed by Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe between 1955-1965, a decade that may be regarded as a turning point in his long and distinguished career. Join us at 10am on 11 October as Annabel Downs discusses the JFK Memorial at Runnymede, on 18 October when Ed Bennis talks about the Cadbury Factory at Moreton Marsh and on 25 October as Kate Harwood speaks about the Water Gardens at Hemel Hempstead. All three of these landscapes are now on the Historic England Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest thanks to the concerted effort of these garden historians, the Gardens Trust and others.
Tickets cost £12 for the entire series of three lectures or £5 each for the individual lectures. All lectures should be booked via Eventbrite. Please click here for further information and the link to the series on Eventbrite.
